Introduction

Dr. Abdul Haque Memorial Exam – DAHM was started in the year 2012 in the commemoration of Dr. Abdul Haque who basically belonged to Gurmitkal. Despite of coming from such a small town, he made his name as a history and set an example to everyone for the rural as well as to urban people that your determination and dedication can take you from nowhere to everywhere, he was from Gurmitkal but with his hardwork and dedication he reached till Queen Elizabeth’s palace and served as a Personal Physician of His Highness, Sultan of Oman. Despite leading a luxurious lifestyle with all the luxurious amenities he never forgot his social duties. He actively participated in helping the needy such as providing free education for children, jobs, running orphanage, marriages of poor, pensions for widows, etc and etc to name some of his social services.

Such great person met an unfortunate tragic road accident on 2nd September 2012 and left for his heavenly abode. His sudden and tragic dismiss left us shattered. He is no longer with us now, but his ideologies and policies will always help us to continue the work what he has left incomplete. We, Fatima Trust will continue to put all our efforts to carry out his social and educational work, as he was very closely associated with the trust.
